About the Grants and Partnerships Manager :
The Grants and Partnerships Manager plays a vital role in the Salam organization, supporting the Executive Director in developing strategies to attract funding and support for the organization from various institutions and donors.
He/she works to build relationships with potential donors and partners to increase opportunities for obtaining funding, and prepares and submits funding and grant applications in a professional manner. In addition, he is responsible for following up on the progress of financial grants and ensuring compliance with reporting and monitoring requirements.
The Grants and Partnerships Manager needs excellent communication skills to build and manage strong relationships with partners and donors, and the ability to analyze financial data and provide accurate reports.
The ability to negotiate and develop new and innovative funding attraction strategies is also essential for his success in his role.
Job Description:
– Planning and implementing the strategy for obtaining funding and managing grants and partnerships in the organization.
– Building and strengthening relationships with potential and current donors.
– Preparing funding requests and appropriate proposals.
– Following up on accounting reports and ensuring compliance with funding conditions.
– Coordinating the funding team and communicating efficiently and effectively.
– Supporting the Executive Director in managing programs and developing strategies and policies.
– Analyzing financial data and organizational performance to provide strategic guidance.
– Managing internal operations and ensuring the effectiveness of administrative work.
– Representing the organization externally and building strategic partnerships.
– Preparing monthly and annual financial grant reports in coordination with the Finance Director according to the timetables specified with donors
– Ensuring compliance with donors and partners and supporting employees with the necessary guidance.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
– A university degree in business administration or social sciences or any related field.
- A minimum of three years of experience in the field of partnerships and grants.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the field of humanitarian work.
- Experience in project management and program management
- Understanding the grant management process and donor requirements.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to solve problems flexibly.
- Ability to communicate, negotiate, plan and organize.
- Excellent proficiency in Arabic and English, speaking and writing.
- Excellent proficiency in various Microsoft programs.
